Use our Find Care tool to see if your doctor is in our network. If your doctor is part of the Wellpoint network, you‘re all set. If your PCP is not in our network, we can ask your current doctor to join our network or help you find a new PCP.
Your prescription medicines, including those for mental illness, will be covered by Wellpoint. If you have a prescription from your doctor, you can continue to take that medicine. We may talk to your doctor about medicines that do the same thing but at a lower cost.
You can get prescriptions filled at any Wellpoint network pharmacy. Our network includes most major chains and many independent community pharmacies. You can search our list of network pharmacies. You can also call Wellpoint Member Services at 833-731-2140 (TTY 711) or ask your local pharmacy for help.
We have network pharmacies in all 50 states. Most chain pharmacies, as well as many independent and grocery store pharmacies participate in our plan. If you need a refill while on vacation, contact your doctor for a new prescription to take with you or fax it to the closest network pharmacy where you are. Certain restrictions may apply.
If your medicines are lost or stolen, you should contact your doctor to authorize the pharmacy to refill your prescription early. Such requests must include a copy of the police report. The pharmacy may contact us for prior approval. Replacement of lost or stolen medicine will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Certain restrictions may apply.
