Transportation
You’re responsible for your own ride to and from your medical appointments. If you cannot get a ride, the local health department may be able to assist you. You must have:
- Your Wellpoint ID card.
- A scheduled visit at a doctor’s office, hospital, or clinic.
Transportation is for nonemergency medical appointments only. Please schedule your ride the week before you need it.
For more information, visit the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) page on the Maryland Department of Health website.
