Behavioral Health Services Only (BHSO)
Wellpoint works together with you and your behavioral health team to help you live well.
What WA members get with Wellpoint
We’re here to help you with all your behavioral health and/or substance use disorder benefits. When you need behavioral health or substance use disorder care, you can get them from a Community Mental Health Center, a behavioral health or substance use disorder agency, or another provider in our plan.
You don’t need a referral from your PCP to see a plan behavioral health specialist. There are some treatments and services that need preapproval before you receive them. To learn more, talk to your doctor.
Always show your Wellpoint ID card when you get these services.
Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe)
Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) is a program that helps provide Apple Health (Medicaid) children and youth with intensive mental healthcare. With WISe, children and youth receive the care and support they need from a team consisting of family members and counselors. For more information about the program, visit the WISe website.
