Getting to your doctor visits

We want you to always have a reliable ride to get the care you need. That’s why we work with Modivcare in West Virginia to help Wellpoint Medicaid and WVCHIP members get to their medical appointments.

Scheduling a ride

You or your provider can schedule no-cost rides to your medical appointments with Modivcare. Just make sure you or your provider calls at least five business days before your appointment.

To schedule a ride, visit the Modivcare website, or call 844-549-8353 (TTY 866-288-3133) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Get your transportation expenses covered

All Wellpoint members are eligible to receive no-cost bus passes or gas mileage reimbursements for going to medical visits. Each household can also receive one $100 gas card each year. Households get $25 every three months to help with daily transportation needs.
